In the spring of 2013, an intrepid group of alumni added Carleton College to the growing list of fossil fuel divestment campaigns around the country. We made our first public appearance at Reunion 2013, where we shared information about Divest Carleton with other alumni. We include faculty and parents, and are aligned with the student organization of Divest Carleton.
Divest Carleton collected over 3600 signatories on our petition to divest Carleton College from fossil fuels. 507 are current students and 3033 are alumni, representing 71 class years and 10% of Carleton’s alumni population.
